Most forms of Yoga today are dynamic and active practices designed to work mainly on half of the body, that is the muscular part or the “Yang” tissues.

Yin Yoga allows us to work on the other half, which is the deeper “Yin” tissues of the ligaments, joints, deep fascial networks, and even the bones. This style of Yoga targets the deep connective tissues of the body (vs. the superficial tissues) and the fascia that covers the body.

It is a necessity to exercise all tissues so that we can achieve optimal health and vitality. Moreover, Yin Yoga helps to regulate the flow of energy in the body.

This style of Yoga is also unique, wherein you relax in the posture, soften the muscle and move closer to the bone; offering much deeper access into the body. Each Asana is held for at least 90 seconds to 3 minutes to gain optimum benefit of the posture.
